Banana, Oats & Chocolate energy bars

Easy recipe to make energy bars with 4 ingredients: banana, oats, nut butter and chocolate. The perfect snack or breakfast.

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 300-350 gr oat flakes or flour
  • 6 tbsp nut butter
  • chocolate, chopped


  1. Preheat the oven to 180ÂșC. Line a 20x20cm baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Take a bowl and mash the bananas with a fork. Add the oats (in flakes or ground into oat flour), the nut butter of your choice and rougly chopped chocolate pieces.

  3. Pour the dough in the tray and bake for 18-20 mins, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  4. Let it cool down and once at room temperature, slice into individual servings.


How to store

  • Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Or freeze and consume during the next 3 months.
