Learn online

SeriousEats: Techniques: the science behind cooking, essentials in the kitchen and how to learn basic cooking techniques. My go-to site to get a deep understanding of a recipe, tool or technique. They also write about the origin of foods and go deep into understanding cuisines.

TheSpruce – Search tool: I never knew this website until I started doing research for my recipes. I usually get to it by typing questions on Google, but I’ve realised that using the Search tool in the Food section is super useful!

Jamie Oliver: FoodTube – Search tool: really well explained recipes or tips, a lot of them are focused on British cuisine but there’s also more exotic or Souther-European recipes there too.
